Cadami is based in Munich, Germany and was founded in 2015 as a spin-off from TU
München. We provide products and solutions for wireless video streaming to inflight
entertainment companies, network operators and media companies.

Our products and solutions enable our customers to deliver a superior video streaming
experience, across the globe. At the heart of our products is coded caching, an exciting
innovative technology which breaks with the existing paradigms of networking and caching.

Software Engineer

What you will do:

  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Test and deploy programs and systems on hardware testbeds
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software

What we expect:

  • Ability to develop software in C++, C, Python, Java, or other programming languages. And you need to love them all
  • Knowledge of network protocols (IP, TCP, UDP)
  • Experience with Linux
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar experience; we’re not too hung up on certificates

Other things that are cool

  • You can develop mobile apps
  • Experience with web services
  • You know what container technologies are and you even know how to use them
  • Knowledge of low-level and advanced network management (VLAN, bridges, IGMP)

Software Architect

What you will do

  • Participate in planning, definition and implementation of software solutions
  • Oversee the development of that solution. And you have the flexibility to adapt plans when things don’t work out
  • Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems and requirements for interactions
  • Design and execute strategies for testing and continuous integration
  • Work closely with our customers

What we expect:

  • You are an experienced and motivated technologist, with the right balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills: you’re a nerd with manners
  • You have a strong understanding of data architectures and protocols
  • You are experienced with various programming languages and enthusiastic about them; C++, Python and Shell are particularly important
  • You are fluent in English

  • You are experienced with Linux and embedded systems
  • You have worked with test-driven development and continuous integration
  • You are comfortable discussing complex technical detail with other engineers
  • You know about basic project management: ideas exchange, communication, project scope, requirements and dependency management, and so on

Directions

Take the S-Bahn to Ostbahnhof. From Munich Airport, the S8
line is quicker but you can also take S1.

Our office is a five minute walk from Ostbahnhof. Follow signs
to Friedenstrasse, turn down Grafinger Strasse then right onto
Puereelinie. You’ll see Werk 1 in front of you.
